Walking
You can walk down through the garden to join the National Trust path and onto the road (be careful of the cars whizzing down) and on to the Higher Ferry.
Alternatively, at the slipway to the Higher Ferry walk along the towpath to Kingswear village or take the Lower Ferry for a different view of the river.
You can also catch the steam train from Kingswear Village or you can walk through the woods the opposite direction to Greenway Halt and catch the train in a more remote and rural location.
