The Dartmouth Food Festival will return on 18th – 20st October 2018 with a tempting mix of delicious regional food and drink, chef demonstrations, workshops, lively food debates and fun for all the family. The three day event is a foodie’s heaven, celebrating the very best food, drink and culinary skills from the south west. The event has grown from strength to strength and now attracts up to 25,000 visitors!
The aim of the Festival is to showcase the best that the South West has to offer – from Ashridge Cider and Cornish Seasalt through to the Devon Scone Company and South Devon Chilli Farm.
It is also an opportunity to see and learn from the Chefs of local award winning restaurants (The Seahorse, The Elephant in Torquay and the Millbrook Inn, South Pool to name but a few). The claim of the committee is that during the festival there are probably the most award winning chefs per square metre than anywhere else in the country.
There are so many things to see, taste and take part in. Try some of the workshops where you can learn how to crack crab, filet fish or make pizzas. Watch the free demonstrations in the demo tents by some of the country’s best known chefs. It really is a weekend not to be missed.
